Create New Mappings
Harryette has set up Intelligent Document Automation to process documents, but there’s one more thing she can do to make the automation work better. A patient’s insurance needs to be transferred, and Harryette finds that there are no existing fields to map the transfer insurance form to. And the insurance transfer form is a new document that’s not part of the org.
With Intelligent Document Automation, Harryette can create specific mappings for each such document type to accommodate newer documents.
Harryette creates a new mapping to accommodate documents related to transfer of insurance.
- Click , and select Setup.
- In the Quick Find box, search for and select Intelligent Form Reader.
- Click New Mapping.
- In the Mapping Name field, enter
Transfer of Insurance
.
- In the Form Type field, click the dropdown and select Custom Form.
- In the Target Object, click the dropdown and select Lead.
- Click Continue.
This returns Harryette to the Intelligent Form Reader window, where she finds the new mapping listed. This way, you can create custom fields to capture any information that’s not captured by default, and accommodate new documents at any stage of the patient’s journey.
