I'm trying to sign in to Tableau Online from Tableau desktop using Quick Connect. I have been using Tableau Online for the past 2 months, but when I enter the same user name and password that I use to sign into Tableau Online, I get a message saying there is not an account associated with that username/password. I tried using "forgot my password" and I receive an email saying there is no tableau account linked to my email.

 

I can confirm the email is listed in my account information in Tableau Online. Am I missing something?

    @David Browne​ - using MAC, have same issue with Tableau Desktop 2023.3.x and also 2024.2

    have 2 accounts where one I can signin and the other it isn't working. i'm direcly switched to the new login windows (salesforce?) and when entering the 2nd credentials its thinking for 3 sec and then refresh the screen, showing the 1st account username. (when entering wrong pass, its give the credential error....)

    i'm managing to signin to this 2nd account via web browser.

    tried your suggest above and also going directly to the file system and delete the cache data under Library

    Really need a quick help here. Thanks in advance
