Highlights panel and case number intermittently populating

Question

We are currently building out a lightning console app and have noticed the highlights panel and case number are not loading every time on the cases tab. When these fields do not load, a "more" tab appears which is not setup in the lightning page layout. There seems to be no rhyme or reason but a page refresh usually solves the problem. This behavior can be replicated consistently with the majority of cases having to be opened and then refreshed.

Any ideas how we can make these fields perform more consistently on initial open?

I'm afraid I don't have a solution to this but in lieu of any responses I would reccomend logging a case with Salesforce Support to see if they can help. Perhaps it's a bug?
