I am trying to create a simple email template using merge fields on my lead object. My goal for this template is not to use it for communication with the lead but to send the lead information to an unrelated external contact.
The issue I am having is that when remove the lead from the "to" field and I try to send the email I get the following error
"We don't recognize the field prefix Recipient. Associate a record that matches the prefix or update the template to remove the merge field from the body, subject, or letterhead."
Is there anyway around this?
