We're currently using Informatica to update records across multiple systems, and need to run a new job to update SF records.  For past jobs, we are able to successfully integrate with SF using 2 SF custom unique id's. 

 

For the new job, we're using the same criteria, but receiving this error: [FATAL] Cannot update or delete rows. You must connect the Salesforce.com ID column to update or delete rows. 

 

Why would we receive an error for a new job that has the same criteria as the successful jobs already in use?  Keep in mind- We are NOT using the SalesForce ID for any of our past jobs that update SF.  Please help!

    Sounds like the field mapping on the new job is not correct.  Check your Informatica job definition for one of the working jobs to make sure you aren't missing a 'lookup step' that might be used to find the salesforce record based on your 'custom id' fields.
