Unable to find the Data loader desktop icon even after installation.

Unable to find the Data loader desktop icon even after installation. Previously when the installation is completed, we used to get a check box asking if a desktop icon can be created. Now we don't see that. Every time i need to login now, i need to go to the exe file which starts the installation again. I don't think this is the best way to launch the application everytime. Any suggestions please.
