Caitlin Pardo 님이 #Reports & Dashboards에 질문했습니다
We are trying to add filters to a sales dashboard, it looks as though the options we have are only related the user activity (account owner, created by, last modified by, etc.) or the dates (created date, last modified date, etc.).  We do not show any options for standard fields (e.g. stage, rating) - we did check  equivalent fields.  Our reports are summarized or include stage, but still this is not an option.  What determines what fields are available in the field selection list? Is there a step we are not doing inorder for the field to show up in the field list. Any help is much appreciated, thank you!

Caveat, I haven't actually read this in documentation anywhere but anecdotal evidence tells me that dashboard filters only allow you to filter on data points that are consistent across all components. For example a Sales Dashboard may have Opportunity and Lead data. Since Opportunity Stage is not a field on Lead the system wouldn't know what to do with Lead data filtered in something specific to Opportunity. If your dashboard has multiple objects then that is probably what you are seeing. Again, anecdotal but it has always seemed to be the case for me.
