how do I close chatter account

Question

I have created an account just for chatter, but recently my dedicated Salesforce contact within HTC is help me to create a licensed account but was not successfu since my email address has been used for the chatter account. Anyway I can close chatter account to free up my email address so that we can use it for the licensed account?

If you're the only active user, you can delete the network using this link:

https://na9.salesforce.com/_ui/core/chatter/selfservice/DeleteChatterOrgPage

Moderators can deactivate other users by clicking on their profile.

Another option is to change your username in settings so that your Salesforce contact can add you with your email address.
