Avoid a Ghostly Experience in the Graveyard

A Ghost in the Graveyard

Later that evening, you finally get to relax with Astro, Ruth, and Codey in front of a cackling fire to enjoy a cup of hot cocoa and tell stories about the day. The staff uniforms have been located, the pumpkins were found in the attic of the Inn, and the first night of the pumpkin-carving contest was a smashing success. The pranks around the hotel have died down to just the kind that delight the guests.

Upstairs, you hear footsteps race up and down the howl-ways, as kids in pajamas peek out of their doors to try to catch the ghost running off. Faucet handles turn off or on while teeth are being brushed. And sleepy guests find pieces of the Halloween candy that went missing that morning tucked inside their slippers or the pockets of their robes.

Just as you finish your cocoa, Morty Mortem, a guest in Room 313 approaches the table and holds out his phone to show you his reservation calendar. He points out that an activity he and his family signed up for, BOOmerangs in the Graveyard, is showing up on his calendar for the next day at 2:30 AM. “Shouldn’t it be 2:30 PM?” Mr. Mortem asks, confused.

“Oh boy, Cob’s ghost must have created that session,” you tell him. “The Inn certainly wouldn’t offer an experience where guests throw boomerangs around in the graveyard, especially in the middle of the night! Someone can get hurt! Let’s find another fun experience for you and your family to go to tomorrow afternoon.”

Cancel the BOOmerangs in the Graveyard Experience Session

You hurry back to your computer and review the BOOmerangs in the Graveyard experience. You’re relieved to see that Cob’s ghost only set up one session, and so far, only Mr. Mortem’s family has booked it. You work quickly to cancel it before anyone else signs up.

  1. In the Sillicorn Valley Inn app, click Agentforce .
  2. Click the arrow next to the Customer Service Agent to expand the Select Agent menu. Select the General Agent from the menu, then click Select. Make sure the correct agent is selected.
  3. In the Agentforce panel, copy and paste Show me the experience bookings for Morty Mortem. The agent shows you three experiences that Morty Mortem has booked for his family during their stay.

  1. Click the Booking Record Number B-00107912 for the 2:30 AM session of BOOmerangs in the Graveyard to open the Booking Details page on the left.

  1. Copy and paste Please cancel the session tied to this booking. The agent responds to tell you that the session has been successfully canceled. The Status field in the Agentforce panel and in Morty’s Booking Details update to say Canceled, and the Is Canceled checkbox is checked.

Book a New Session for Morty’s Family

Now, you need to rebook Morty Mortem’s family for something fun tomorrow afternoon. Morty told you that his family is interested in the Halloween Scavenger Hunt.

  1. In the Agentforce panel, copy and paste What is the next available 2:30 pm Halloween Scavenger Hunt for 5 people?The agent responds by showing you a session that is available and asks whether you’d like to book it.
  2. Copy and paste Yes book it for Morty Mortem’s family. The agent tells you that the booking has been successfully created.

  1. In the Agentforce panel, click the new booking number to view Morty’s new Booking Details for the Halloween Scavenger Hunt.

Wrap Up

With Morty’s family happy with their new schedule, you head back to the fireplace and rejoin your friends. Cob’s ghost kept you and the Inn staff busier than ever today, but the Employee Agents helped you keep everything under control. Tomorrow, you’ll explore the rest of the festival and fix the ghost’s pranks whenever you’re needed.
