Amelia Kohm が「#Tableau Public」で質問

I created a workbook which is saved on Tableau Public. In the workbook, I've joined three CSV files. Now I want to transfer it to someone else so that they can regularly update the data in the CSV files and then refresh the dashboards in the workbook.

I tried downloading the packaged workbook from Tableau Public (as well as doing a save as .twbx in Desktop) and then renaming the file with a .zip extension as described here:

https://help.tableau.com/current/pro/desktop/en-us/save_savework_packagedworkbooks.htm

However, the data folder in the zip file does NOT include the three CSV files as described on the webpage above. Instead, it only includes a .hyper file.

How can I transfer the workbook so that someone else can refresh the data sources??

Thanks, in advance, for your help!

    Hi @Amelia Kohm

You will need to send them the underlying CSV files directly. This way when they open the packaged workbook on their machine, they can point the data source to their locally saved files.

    Hope this helps!

    Cheers,

    Laura
