Hello, Trailblazers!  I am attempting to make the changes below to the Contract Object:

 

* Create a new tab: "Terms" (I have that figured out)

 

* Create separate related lists with terms, such as Financial Terms, Remedies, etc.

 

* Within these related lists I'll include unique fields.

 

If all goes as planned, it will look similar to the following:

 

Contracts (Object)

 

Terms (tab)

 

          Financial Terms (Related List)

 

                  Payment Term (field)

 

                  Discounts (field)

 

                  Rate Increates (field)

 

          Remedies (Related List)

 

                  Liability Cap (field)

 

                   Exceptions (field)

 

          Dispute Resolution (related list)

 

                   Governing Law (field)

 

                   Jurisdiction (field)

 

I can create the tab and fields but having difficulty figuring out how to create the unique Related Lists.  Seeking help from the Trailblazer community to resolve.

    Amnon, that makes sense.  

     

    I think where I am making this difficult for myself is assuming that I need a related field.  The need could be satisfied merely by having separate "sections" on a page layout for Financial Terms, Remedy, Dispute Resolution, etc. with associated fields under each heading.  Those "sections" can be minimized and maximized to keep a clean look to the page (i.e., not making immediately visible a list of 50+ fields).
