Hi, we have 3 record types in cases. Cancelation, Support and Salesforce-tickets. I want that everybody is able create a salesforce-ticket, but just the sys admin should be able to see and work with them, because sometimes it´s sensitive data. What´s the best way to manage that? thanks for you help! Frank

    So the person creating it shouldn't be able to see it after creation?  Profile is how you lock down which type they create, but it has nothing to do with what records they can see.  You can build criteria based sharing rules using record type though to open up access as needed
