The steps are: Create the Quick Action
From Setup, click Object Manager, then Candidate.
Click Buttons, Links, and Actions.
Click New Action and fill in the details.

I AM UNABLE TO SELECT 'JOB APPLICATION' AS A TARGET OBJECT. I ONLY SEE 'NOTE'. THE 'JOB APPLICATION' OBJECT IN DEPLOYED ON THE OBJECT LISTS AND ALSO INCLUDED IN THE LAYOUT. CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHY I'M NOT SEEING? I TRIED EVERY WAY AROUND IT I KNOW. THANKS

If we create a master-detail relationship in Job Application object to the Candidate object we will be able to see the Target Object.
