How can I fix the error " Found measures in User XMD which are not present in System XMD" when trying to update my JSON file?

I am trying to update an existing dashboard but I get the following error when I update the JSON file to include the new data. 

 

- Found measures in User XMD which are not present in System XMD.

    Hi Michael,

     

    You will need to download the dataset XMD and remove the impacted fields which are no longer present in the dataflow.  Ex.) If you had a dataflow with field: Opp2_c and you manipulated or used that field in a dataset, that manipulation gets captured in the User XMD.  So if you then deleted Opp2_c from the dataflow, it would throw this error until you update the XMD and remove that impacted field.
