Question regarding Files Connect - we have sharepoint and have a number of large contracts stored there. A large amount of them exceed the file size restrictions of Salesforce. So, when we associate a sharepoint file to a Salesforce record, does that actually bring the file into Salesforce? I'm not a sharepoint user but most of my users are and are very interested in how this will work for them. Anyone have any screenshots of how it's actually used after it's set up? Thanks so much!

Hi @Heather Glenn, As long as you use the Copy as Reference feature of Files Connect, the binary will never actually be stored as a Salesforce File, so the limits do not come into play. So you know, the max binary size for a Salesforce File is 2GB (which should be the same for SharePoint, unless something is unique about your implementation of SharePoint). Here's a good video to share with your users: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aG3m3zP00KQ
