Collaborate with Stakeholders

Learning Objectives

After completing this unit, you’ll be able to:

  • Explain how dealers and partners use stakeholder management in Automotive Cloud.
  • Outline the benefits of using viable relationship center graphs to visualize relationships.

Step Into the Portals

So far, you’ve explored how Neo Motors performs stakeholder modeling as an automotive original equipment manufacturer (OEM). But what about partners and dealers who want insight into the relationships between their customers and other stakeholders? They can use Automotive Experience Cloud to set up online portals for dealers and customers.

A graphic representing the power of dealer and customer portals in Automotive Cloud.

With their portal, dealers can do things like review a customer’s profile, while customers can browse a catalog of vehicles or book service appointments.

Dream Dealers uses the Automotive template-powered dealer portal to track customer accounts, link them to dealership staff, organize business relationships, personalize messaging, and manage claims. Neo Motors can build a similar portal on Experience Cloud, giving customers a full view of their relationships with dealerships, service providers, and partners.

Visualize Relationships

Automotive Cloud comes with powerful components like relationship cards and actionable relationship center (ARC) graphs that help users visualize the relationships between different entities. Relationship cards on Account, Contact, and Vehicle pages, pull content from related objects up to three levels away and display specific fields from those objects.

ARC graphs on Asset, Vehicle, Fleet, Account, and Contact pages show parent, child, and peer records in a unified interactive view. ARC graphs are Neo Motors tool of choice for visualizing the complex web of relationships between accounts, contacts, related vehicles, assets, and other participants. Using ARC graphs, you can perform several other tasks:

  • Traverse multiple levels of nodes to view related records.
  • Take quick actions for each record from within the graph, such as creating action plans, cases, record alerts, and more.
  • Create ARC graphs with different anchor nodes and related peer and child nodes for different records.
  • Create relationships between records that share a one-to-one, one-to-many, or many-to-many relationships.
  • Select the fields to show for each record.

Here are some ARC graphs that Neo Motors frequently uses.
