Hands-on challenges are the “secret sauce” of Trailhead. Before searching for solutions to superbadge challenges, review the Salesforce Certification Program Agreement and Policies. ** NOTE ** : If you were able to get a response that solved your issue, please mark it as the 'Best Answer' to help other Trailblazers. If the issue persists after 48 hours, create a Trailhead Help case at https://help.salesforce.com/s/support for further assistance.

You need to first create/Edit the missing Support Process before you can associate it with a Record Type.

    1. From Setup, enter Support Processes in the Quick Find box and select Support Processes.
    2. Click New/Edit Existing.
    3. For the Existing Support Process, select Master.
    4. Name it exactly 'Inquiry Process'.
    5. Click Save
    6. then come back to recordtype and relate it.

    Hi YS,

For your first issue, if you receive an "Email address already exists"

error while signing up for the Coral Cloud Resorts Developer Edition org, it means the email address is already associated with an existing Salesforce account. You can try one of the following:

    • Use a different email address.
    • Use email aliasing (for example, yourname+coral@gmail.com) if your email provider supports it.
    • If you already have an account with that email address, try logging in instead of creating a new account.

For the second issue (Unable to Connect Org), please try the following:

    1. Log in to the Developer Edition org directly and verify you can access it.
    2. From Trailhead, click Connect Org and select Log In with Salesforce.
    3. Enter the correct Developer Edition credentials.
    4. Allow access when prompted.
    5. If the connection still fails, clear your browser cache, try an incognito/private window, or use a different browser.
    6. Ensure you are connecting the required Coral Cloud Resorts Developer Edition org and not another Salesforce org.

If the issue persists, please share a screenshot of the error message displayed during the connection process so the community can help troubleshoot further.

In particular at this step "Create a new action using the Refund Request Flow, which will populate the action Label Refund Request Flow. The Agent Action Instructions This Autolaunched flow supports the refund process for agents by automating refund requests based on original order details will populate from the flow's configuration. You can use any loading text you'd like. Although we can't check for it, you can use the Input and Output Configuration provided in the Help article for this superbadge

to complete the Agent Action configuration." i am getting salesforce backend exception.

As part of debugging, while i toggle Agentforce on/off i get another. I think this error might be causing the 2nd error.

I do not want to start with a fresh playground as it would also require me to finish first 2 challenge of the superbug again. :(

I am attempting to clone a template, following along with these steps, as outlined in the Trailhead module:

The Fundraising Account Actionable List Template can’t be activated because it’s marked as a template. Clone the template to activate it.

  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter data processingCopy, and then select Data Processing Engine.
  2. Select Fundraising Account Actionable List Template.
  3. Click and select Save As.
  4. Specify these details.
    • Name: Major Gifts Fundraising Account Actionable ListCopy
    • API Name: This field auto-populates with Major_Gifts_Fundraising_Account_Actionable_ListCopy
    • Process Type: Actionable List

However, the Process Type is locked for Fundraising and cannot be changed. Therefore, I cannot complete the progress check to move forward. How do I change the Process Type since it is locked?

Thanks

    @Colin Ong-Dean

This is expected behavior in Data Processing Engine.

The Process Type field is system-defined and locked, so it cannot be changed when cloning a template. When you use Save As, Salesforce creates a copy within the same template framework, but it retains the original Process Type (in this case, Fundraising).

The confusion usually comes from the Trailhead instruction wording — it suggests selecting “Actionable List” during cloning, but in reality:

    •  Process Type is not something you modify during clone
    •  It is determined when the template is originally created
    •  Cloning only duplicates the existing structure under the same type

    What you should do instead:

    •  Proceed with Save As to create the cloned template
    •  Keep the Process Type as-is (locked)
    •  Activate the cloned template and continue the module

If Trailhead validation still doesn’t pass, it’s usually due to:

    •  Using an incorrect or reused Playground org
    •  Or missing activation of the cloned template

But changing Process Type is not required or supported in this step.

Im on the trail for Create Support Processes.  I'm being prompted to launch a brand new playground (which I've done) then, click the gear icon and select 'Service Setup'.  However, I do not see 'Service Setup' as an option in the gear icon.  Only Setup, Salesforce or Developer Console.  Those 3 are my only options.  How do I find the Service Setup menu?

To retrieve your missing Salesforce courses, you must reach out directly to the Focus on Force Support Team to trigger a manual account sync. When a platform undergoes a major database or website migration, automated user data transfers can occasionally experience gaps, causing courses or practice exams to temporarily disappear from your dashboard.

    1. File a Focus on Force Support Ticket

    • Navigate to the official Focus on Force Contact Page.
    • Provide account details: Include the exact email address you used to register and purchase the courses originally.
    • Attach proof of purchase: Find your original email receipts, invoice numbers, or PayPal/credit card transaction statements and attach them to the ticket to expedite the verification process.

    2. Double-Check Common Account Discrepancies

    • Verify your login method: If you previously used a social sign-on (like Google or LinkedIn) or a specific email, ensure you are not accidentally logged into a newly created duplicate account using a different email address.
    • Look for a migration confirmation email: Search your inbox and spam folders for communication from Focus on Force. Some migrations require users to click a secure link to reset passwords and officially merge their old purchase history into the new platform layout.

    3. Review Course Expiration Windows

    • Check the purchase date: Note that Focus on Force courses and practice exams generally come with 12 months of access from the date of purchase. If your courses were purchased more than a year ago, they may have naturally expired around the same time the migration took place. If they were active, the support team will restore them.

To help narrow this down, do you know when you purchased these courses? If you have your original order receipts handy, that will be the fastest way to get them restored.

Hi Everyone, I don't have a last screen at the end of my screen flow, the last screen element is followed by Create Records element, Show a Toast message and Open the Page element, between the last screen and Navigating to record page created, I see a screen with the Flow's Name as header, which looks a tiny messiness in between

Can anyone suggest me any way to overcome this

    @Enusha M

This behavior is expected in Screen Flows.

The main reason you’re seeing that “blank/empty screen” is because the Flow is still active after the last Screen element, while post-screen actions (like Create Records, Toast, or navigation) are still being processed. During that short gap, Salesforce renders the Flow header.

Also, regarding “Navigate to Record”, in many orgs it’s no longer available in Screen Flow. The supported replacement is “Open Page”, which serves the same purpose (redirecting to the record detail page).

To avoid both issues and keep the experience clean, the best approach is:

    •  Keep all data actions (create/update) before the final screen
    •  End the Flow with either:
      •  a simple Success/Done Screen, or
      •  “Open Page” as the final step to exit the Flow

This ensures the Flow closes properly and prevents that intermediate blank screen.

    Hope this helps!

Step not yet complete in Customize an Org to Support a New Business Unit

We can't find an escalation action with Age Over set to 1 hour. Make sure the Age Over value is set to 1.

Getting this

@Divya Manglam this error usually means the escalation rule entry exists, but the Escalation Action under it is missing or not set exactly as Trailhead expects.

Go to Setup > Escalation Rules > Support, open the rule entry with Sort Order = 1, then in the Escalation Actions section click New. Set Age Over to 1 hour and keep minutes as 0. Then select your user in Notify This User and choose the Support: Escalated Case Notification template from Unfiled Public Classic Email Templates.

Also double-check that the rule entry criteria is Case: Case Reason equals Performance. The official Trailhead instructions mention this exact setup for the "Customize an Org to Support a New Business Unit" project (Optimize Business Process Automation)

Salesforce Help also confirms that escalation actions are time-based and the Age Over field controls when the case escalates (https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=service.rules_escalation_create.htm&type=5)
