I have been asked to update our daily opportunity report by adding products to it. I created an Opportunity with Product report, applied the same filter and fields as the original report but no matter how I group the fields each product in an opportunity it listed as its own line items and makes the rep look like they have 10 opportunities for one account when its each item in the orders making it look that way. How can I get this to show the products for the opportunity as one opportunity? For example this Ojas Neutraceutical is one opportunity with multiple products that makes it look like the rep has 7 opportunities.
You'd have to put the account and opportunity fields in the group by section of the report. You can only group up to 3 fields however.
You could create a custom formula field that combines account and opportunity name so you could hold to 3 field limit.
