I have a newsletter scheduled to send yesterday, but it says it has only sent to 300 out of the 3,000 recipients. I checked again this morning and it had sent to 700, but still not the total 3,000. How can I automatically send the newsletter to the rest of the recipients, or get the process to hurry up and send to the rest?

If you're using the mass email functionality in Salesforce, then depending on your edition, you have limits to the number that can be sent in a day.  Professional is 250, Enterprise is 500 and Unlimited is 1,000.

Salesforce doesn't want users to use it for a mass marketing tool (although they did just purchase ExactTarget, which may be changing that).

In order to get around these limits, you should look into 3rd party email marketing apps that will integrate with Salesforce.  Some good ones are ExactTarget, Marketo, Genius (I've used this one before and it's one of the better values) & Vertical Response.

This will allow you to schedule bigger blasts than Salesforce will allow and you won't have to wait a few days for all of them to go out.

    Does this help?
