Rosario,

You can do this with Process Builder and Rollup Summary fields.

First, create a field on the Opportunity Product called Product_Family__c.

Second, create a Process Builder to populate that field. (see image below).

Third, create a Rollup Summary filed to sum (I assume the Sales Price?) and create a filter to only sum the Opp Products of the families you want. (see image below).

Remember only 10 rollup summaries per object. This solution will work for a couple of Product Families, but not scale too far.
