Hi Olivia,
The reason behing is this that you might have several dev orgs and when you click help and treaining you willl be redirected to its account,and if you login direclty with the same account then it would be difficult to you to track which account you weere logged in and from which did you post the question/answer.
so in order to avoid this,better appraoch is to have the user log in two times in case you are using success community from other login.
now lets consider my example,I use my account from my dev edition buit i work simultaneoualsy on multiple org so if the success community doesn't ask us for login then i would have posted multiple questions at the same time from multiple logins.
