Concerning Asset Fields

Question

I am a complete novice at SF and am attempting to set up customized fields in my ASSETS App. However, different types of ACCOUNTS need totally different fields, I need to know how to properly set up different fields to show up on different types of ACCOUNTS?

Is it possible to establish completely different Asset Apps or Asset Fields that will be "Loaded" based on the "INDUSTRY" selection in my ADDITIONAL INFORMATION App?
