Deep Dive into Salesforce Contracts will not validate

I setup a special DE instance with Contracts to do the hands on "Deep Dive into Salesforce Contracts". I see the contracts and have created a Contract but everytime I go to check it tells me that

We can’t find a contract based on the ‘Acme Sneakers Quote’ quote.

There is one there associated with the one and only quote, not sure if this is a validation bug or I did something wrong but I have triple checked it at this time.

I'm getting the error

In the the contract 'Acme Sneakers Quote', we can’t find the Service Warranty compliant obligation with the expected party and assigned to your user.

I have
Signed Up in Special Developer Edition Org in the challenge "Create and Submit Contracts"
completed the challenge creating the contract from the opportunity and signing it
created the obligation (with status Non-Compliant)
check challenge

Create and Submit Contracts Won't Register as completed

Create and Submit Contracts

I have completed all of the steps but can't get the trailhead to register it as completed. What might I be missing. I says to approve the contract. I don't see an Approved status. Is there a status that the contract needs to be in?
