Hands-on challenges are the “secret sauce” of Trailhead. Before searching for solutions to superbadge challenges, review the Salesforce Certification Program Agreement and Policies. ** NOTE ** : If you were able to get a response that solved your issue, please mark it as the 'Best Answer' to help other Trailblazers. If the issue persists after 48 hours, create a Trailhead Help case at https://help.salesforce.com/s/support for further assistance.

I am attempting this Challenge: https://trailhead.salesforce.com/content/learn/projects/improve-data-quality-for-a-cleaning-supply-app/create-a-lookup-filter?trail_id=learn-admin-essentials

When I click the Contact Name Field the screen basically goes blank. Any ideas why or how t fix it?

I have relaunched my Playground and refreshed many times.

Unable to edit field, blank screen.

Hi Trailhead Team,

I’m experiencing an issue while completing the Automate Your Business Process project:

Badge Link:  https://trailhead.salesforce.com/content/learn/projects/customize-an-org-to-support-a-new-business-unit/automate-your-business-process?trail_id=integrate-a-new-business-organization

Issue Details:  While creating the required Billing Support case for Sean Forbes under the Edge Communications account, the Contact lookup field is not returning the expected contact record.

What I’ve Confirmed:

  • I am working in the correct Trailhead playground launched directly from the project.
  • The contact Mr. Sean Forbes exists in the system.
  • The contact is correctly associated with the Edge Communications account.
  • The record type and required field values are selected as instructed in the project.
  • The contact appears in the Contact list and on the Account record.
  • However, during case creation, the lookup does not return the contact, and I receive a validation error stating that the value does not exist or does not match filter criteria.

This is preventing completion of the challenge verification step.

Could someone please confirm if there are additional configuration requirements (such as lookup filters, record type restrictions, or support process constraints) that may affect visibility in the Contact lookup?

I would appreciate your guidance on how to resolve this so I can proceed with the project.

I am working with the new out-of-the-box Account Plan functionality released by Salesforce. My objective is to link an Opportunity to an Account Plan Objective, ensuring that the lookup field only displays Account Plan Objectives associated with the same Account as the Opportunity’s Account.

(Note: The Account has a lookup relationship with the Account Plan object, and the Account Plan has a master-detail relationship with the Account Plan Objective object. However, the Account Plan object lookup is not showing the option to select the Account field.)

When I try to create the lookup filter, the standard lookup fields are not working as expected.

How can I filter the lookup results in the Opportunity field to only show Account Plan Objectives that are related to the same Account?

    Hi @A Kiran Kumar Senapati

    - Lookup Filters are not created from the “Related Lookup Filters” section. That page only displays existing filters.

Object Manager > Position > Fields & Relationships > open the Lookup field > add the Lookup Filter there.
