I have created a Branch unit record and associated it to the parent branch unit. When I am in my parent Branch Unit Related list, I am not able to see its associated branch units. I have added all the related lists to branch unit page layouts. Does anyone who has solution to this?
Currently, the only workaround I can think of is create custom Branch Unit lookup field

I installed FSC and looked around FSC developer Org. As you said, it didn't have [Parent Branch] related list.
Branch Unit object is Standard Object, and I guess Salesforce FSC didn't provide [Parent Branch] realted list, unfortunately😥😥 .
If you really need one, you could make custom lookup field and make related list as belows:
