Hi all, apologies in advance if my question isn't clear. I recently read the Ask an Architect: Integrating Salesforce and Tableau article and was left with a question that I haven't been able to find the answer to. Hopefully, someone here can come to the rescue. When you embed a viz into a Salesforce dashboard, do all Salesforce users need to have a Tableau license to view and interact with said viz? Or does the SSO connection let everyone see the dashboard as if a Tableau licensed user were accessing the dashboard? Asking because this could have an impact on our budget -- which, unfortunately, isn't unlimited.

Just asked this question at the DC Nonprofit Group and the answer is yes - all users view/interacting with the viz will need a license. Someone mentioned if the viz can be public - you could utilize Tableau Public possibly.
