I am currently doing the Control Access to the Org challange and I can't understand why the system admin profile is missing from the profile list. I have looked at this (https://trailhead.salesforce.com/help?article=Data-Security-Trailhead-Challenge-Help&search=System%20Administrator%20Profile%20missing%20from%20the%20%27Profile%27%20list%20view)and I have checked I have the right number of licenses available.
I really hope I am not missing something obvious but I just cant figure it out.

Hi Samantha,
Looks like you have already used the 2 allocated full salesforce license for your playground or developer account.
If you have already allocated a full license you will need to deactiavte the user thats been assigned to other full license and then create a brand new user with the system admin profile
