We are considering enabling state & country picklists, and after going through the documentation it seems to be a pretty simple process that could really regulate a field that is commonly filled in wrong. However, when I throw in the issue that we have a few major integrations that will be effected, I wanted to reach out to the community and see if anyone had success or horror stories from enabling this function. One caveat, we are only doing business in the US, so we don't have to worry about value limitations for OUS territories.

Hi Patrick we've enabled it for a number of clients and it's been fine, preparation is key though, worth a data export and also exporting the data through reports to clean the data.
