Here's the scenario:
1. Using the Customer Portal
2. Using workflow rules for cases based on various criteria (e.g. "case has not been touched in 4 hours"
The question is: If I were to create an email notification using workflow rules and I chose "role and subordinates" (versus "role and internal subordinates") at ANY level in the hierarchy, would the customer portal users get the notifications?

Roles & Subordinates
All roles defined for your organization. This includes all of the users in the specified role plus all of the users in roles below that role, including partner portal and Customer Portal roles that contain users with a portal license type.
