The only way I can think of, would be to add a lookup field in the Campaign Member data to lookup to the Contact's account, then add the Campaign Member related list on to the account, and an embedded report showing Campaign members by account. So far so good.
The only problem here is that the users would manually have to add an account to each Campaign Member record. Is there a way I can auto-populate this custom account field with the Account data already added to each related Contact?
Added complication would be that when a lead is converted and an account created, the new Contact would also need their new Account info to be reflected in the Campaign Member data too...
Any help is greatly appreciated!

I am not sure about the 2nd part but the 1st part - Auto-Filling Account fields on the CampaignMember => http://bit.ly/1id2z9U. You can log-on to the Developer Sandbox and install the same. I have created a field with Label [Account] and API Name [Account__c] on the CampaignMember object and will be there with this Package.
