Prevent cancellation email when multi-person event deleted?

Question

Is there a way to prevent email cancellation notifications from being sent when a multi-person event is deleted?  We need to keep the 'Send Email' & 'Edit Events' permissions.

Hi Laura,

this is quite some time ago, so I wondered, whether the problem still persist.

The short answer, however, is: Cancelling an event will notify everyone.
