Sumeet Vaid a posé une question dans #Sales And Marketing
We use person accounts to manage our clients.  Ours is a B2C business. Since we offer financial planning services which essentially involves  client's family members as well we create them as clients but its a parent-child relationship.

Now the family members have a lot of info on their respective pages (for eg client's wife may have investments in stocks which shows up on her page only) but we do not roll it up on the main page.

My question is, if we want to offer the customer portal licenses to these clients how do we make sure that the client is able to see his portfolio as well as his wife's through a single license. Giving individual licenses does not make sense to the customer as well as to us.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I think this is similar to a Contact on a Parent Account seeing Cases on a Child Account or visa versa.

What you need to do once the Portal is set up and you have enabled your Contact/s as Portal Users is do a Manual Share on the Account you want them to see. Lets say they are a Contact to Account A but they need to see info on Account B which is a child to Account A. You need to go to Account B and select the Sharing button and Add the Portal User.
