A Thank You Isn’t Enough
Ursa Major Solar, Inc., is a leading name in the solar components and systems segment. It focuses on energy independence and innovative ready-to-go solar solutions. Besides a solid product portfolio, the company’s unmatched customer service has led to its exceptional growth over the years. It extends individualized attention to every customer, building lasting relationships that deliver increased customer satisfaction and sales.
Ursa Major relies on Salesforce Surveys to obtain customer feedback. It uses surveys to get insightful data to improve its solar products and services. Ada Balewa, the company’s product support specialist, uses surveys to monitor product forecasts and the service quality of the support team. Salesforce Surveys helps her realize high survey response rates and gives her results in real-time.
Until now, the thank you page of all Ursa Major Solar surveys has been static. It’s used to show appreciation to respondents for taking the survey. But Ada wants to do more with it. She wants to build personalized thank you pages that create a lasting impression on survey takers. She wants to boost engagement by redirecting respondents from the thank you page to other relevant pages based on their responses to survey questions.
Maria, the company’s Salesforce admin, tells Ada about the custom thank you page option with Salesforce Surveys. Using it, Ada can show different thank you pages to customers based on their survey answers. To help them access the company website, she can add actions, such as redirect buttons and interactive buttons. She can also use custom messages on the thank you page to connect with survey takers on a personal level.
Highlights of a Customized Thank You Page
A dynamic thank you page changes with respect to the respondent’s answers to survey questions. This helps Ada to build logical, interactive, and conversational surveys tailored to her customer journey. Using a customized thank you page, Ada can engage customers better and share meaningful information with them. She can redirect respondents to a webpage, add Call-to-Action buttons, and introduce buttons to access the social media pages of Ursa Major Solar. To engage customers, she can use the URL redirection option and call-to-action buttons together.
URL Redirection
URL redirects help customers return to the Ursa Major Solar website after they complete a survey session. To connect with customers on social platforms, Ada can use the thank you page to loop the social media pages of Ursa Major Solar. She can also redirect respondents to the company’s marketing page, product page, or promo codes page.
Call-to-Action Buttons
Besides URL redirects, Ada can have up to three clickable buttons on the thank you page, with each leading to a different web page. For example, respondents can evaluate products on the Ursa Major website, subscribe to the company’s newsletter, or book a visit to a company store using the buttons on the thank you page.
Merge Fields and Display Logic
Ada can use survey question responses or merge field options to define the message participants see on the thank you page, provided she uses merge fields in her questions. After adding survey custom pages, she can add display logic to route respondents to the correct page.
Set to Fly
Ada is thrilled to learn about the possibilities of customizing the thank you page of her surveys. She can make the page more than just a formality, using it to build Ursa Major Solar’s brand identity. The new capabilities give Ursa Major Solar customers access to important information with embedded Call-to-Actions buttons and webpage links. In the next unit, follow along as Maria sets up thank you page customizations to make Ava’s survey wishes come true.
