Salesforce CLI Integration unresponsive in VS Code

Question

Hi Guys, When I'm trying to Create a project in the VS Code, I'm not able to create a project as it is running for a very long time. When I'm trying to look into the Developer:Show Running extensions it is displaying the below error. PFA, For the same. Can anyone help me out?

Hi Hemanth,

Try to upgrade to latest version of VS.

Also re-install again 'Salesforce CLI Integration' extension and see if you are still facing the issue.
