My team is experiencing a lot of push from our Sales Team bc they can't find what they need in SalesForce.  Ex: If they want to find out who to contact in MedEd, they need to search for a certain term. If they need a MedEd Form, they need to find the right tab to complete the form.  If they need to register for an upcomign course, they need to search in the Chatter Posts for a certain term.

 

It's a PAIN!

 

We want to create a simplified page/tab that takes them to all resources for the Medical Education Dept, similar to our existing Extranet/Intranet, where they can find user profile images/titles in a Who's Who section, a list of groups to join, forms to complete, and events to register for.  How difficult would this be to create in VF?  Is there a simple tool/way to do this for semi-technically savvy admins?  This would also need to be SF1 friendly.
