In my org we have sales manager who each have a CRM who arrange meetings, do admin etc. When the lead has coverted to an account the owner gets changed to the sales manager. Is there any way of having the CRM still associated to that account? for stats and commission purposes?

Hi David,
Sounds like Account Teams would be suitable.
Does the CRM own the Lead which is being converted? Or is the Owner of the existing Account before comversion the CRM?
