Probably a simple request, but can i create a default tab view that users of my org can see??

Under Setup > Create > Apps, you'll see the list of existing Apps (which are the choices in the dropdown at the top right of the Salesforce window). You can add/edit the Apps there, then use Permission Sets or Profiles to make them available to your users.
