I have a question about sharing a file externally via a link. At my last organisation we implemented this and shared a file via workflow rule and email template.  This must have be shared over 1,000 times.

I was looking to do something similar at my current organisation but noticed in the help guidance that there may be a limit of 100 shares per file.  Can someone confirm if this is true and when this limit came in?  https://help.salesforce.com/apex/HTViewHelpDoc?id=collab_files_sharing_via_link.htm&language=nl
