Why do I need to migrate to Lightning Knowledge?
The Classic Knowledge data model will be disabled on June 1, 2025. As part of the Summer ‘25 release, all future developments will only be available in Lightning Knowledge. To access the latest Knowledge features, you must migrate from Classic Knowledge to Lightning Knowledge. By migrating your organization will be able to access features like Einstein Article Recommendations, Einstein Search for Knowledge, Flow support, and Agentforce.
You can still use Lightning Knowledge in the Salesforce Classic interface, even after running the migration tool.
How do I migrate to Lightning Knowledge?
Start preparing today for the retirement of Knowledge Classic by migrating to Lightning Knowledge using the Lightning Knowledge Migration Tool.
Making the move to Lightning Knowledge is a multiphase process, with each step building on the success of the previous ones. The Lightning Knowledge migration must be tested in a full-copy sandbox before the migration can occur in production.
