My client needs a report that displays accounts with or without a type of events (we'll call it Type A). Type is a standard picklist field on the Event object.
I created a report type of Accounts with or without Activities. Then, I created a report using that report type, but when I try to set the filters on that report to only display Type A events, the field Type is not available to filter by.
Any thoughts on what is going on here?

It turns out there were two Activity objects available to select during the report type creation. I created another report type and selected the other Activity object, and that resolved the problem
