Chart looks different on Dashboard versus Report...why??

I've got a report with a chart defined as picutred:

I've added the report as a component to a dashboard and checked "Use chart as defined in source report". Why does the dashboard chart look like this:

Is this a bug? Has anyone seen this before, and have a fix for it?

Also does the Dashboard Running User (DRU) have the same access to the reports and fields that are being referenced in those CSF's?
