Salesforce introduced great feature enhancements over the past year. Take a look at some of the more important ones.

Gain Insights with Form and Landing Page Engagement Data in Data Cloud

With the Summer ’25 release, marketers can now create segments in Salesforce Data Cloud using engagement data from Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (MCAE) forms and landing pages. This enhancement offers deeper behavioral insights and enables more personalized interactions by surfacing previously siloed data into a unified customer profile. It’s an important step forward that opens up additional value and use cases for customers who want to segment off of MCAE data in Data Cloud.

To take advantage of this new capability, ensure your MCAE business unit is connected to Data Cloud. Once connected, engagement data from forms and landing pages automatically flows into Data Cloud as part of the Account Engagement data. You need the proper permissions to configure and activate this connection.

Once engagement data is available in Data Cloud, users can:

  • Create segments in Data Cloud that include prospects who visited specific landing pages.
  • Use a calculated insight to define and calculate multidimensional metrics.
  • Create a dynamic list from a Data Cloud segment.

This integration empowers marketers with a holistic view of their audience’s engagement, making it easier to personalize customer journeys and optimize campaign performance.

Find and Merge Duplicate Prospect Records

Keeping your database clean is essential for effective marketing. With this release, Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (MCAE) makes it even easier to manage duplicate prospect records. You can now find and merge duplicate prospects directly within the Optimizer tool, improving data quality and reducing confusion caused by overlapping or redundant information. This enhancement also serves as a key productivity tool for admins, streamlining daily data management tasks and saving valuable time.

Admins and marketers can then review these duplicates and choose which record to keep as the primary one. The tool lets you merge up to three prospects at once, preserving important engagement data and ensuring historical accuracy.

This capability helps with consolidating prospect engagement history and ensuring more accurate segmentation and reporting.

A new page in Optimizer—Enable Marketing Cloud—helps you and your business units access the latest marketing features in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Explore tailored resources, prerequisites, and step-by-step tasks designed to help you leverage Salesforce Data Cloud and innovations like Agentforce and SMS campaigns.

To get started, open the Optimizer and click Enable Marketing Cloud in the welcome banner.

This update is available in Account Engagement Growth, Plus, Advanced, and Premium editions with Data Cloud enabled, in supported regions for Marketing Cloud Growth and Advanced editions.
