Related List Custom Button giving cross-domain error

Hello,

I have custom button on a Related List that is giving a cross-domain error. The button works correctly if you click through to the Related List, but fails on the Related List display on the parent record. What could be causing this problem?

    Thanks for your help. It seems that there is no way to fix this through Salesforce configuration.
