Salesforce has two different desktop user interfaces: Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic. This project is designed for Lightning Experience.

In this quick start, you get hands-on practice using Lightning Experience. You start by setting your sights on your goal for the quarter, then you hunt your highest-priority prospect. Will you close the deal and hit your number? 

What’s Included in This Project

During this project, you work with:

  • Home: Use the home page in Lightning Experience to set a sales goal for yourself to track in this project.
  • Leads: Create a simple lead in Salesforce to track a potential customer.
  • Opportunities: Convert your lead to an opportunity and set a goal for how many units you’re going to sell, for what amount, and by when.

If you haven’t already, log in to Trailhead and click Launch at the bottom of this page to launch your Trailhead Playground. You use the Trailhead Playground for the rest of this project.
