What Are Cross-Channel Solutions?

Cross-Channel Solutions are apps that allow you to take your data from separate silos, and connect, visualize, and analyze your key data sources. The apps are available in the Cross-Channel tab, where you can demo and install different apps.

The installation for each app is dynamic and requires unique steps. After you install an app, you can go to the Dashboards tab, where you view and access the app in the Cross-Channel Analysis section.

The Premium Advanced version offers four ready-to-use apps.

  • Email to Web Conversion: Connect email data to Google Analytics to optimize your email conversation rate and web performance.
  • Audience Insights for Advertising Studio: Connect Audience Studio data with your paid advertising channels to optimize your first-party audience advertising performance.
  • Marketing Insights for Sales Cloud: Connect Sales Cloud data with your paid advertising channels to maximize your marketing’s impact on sales.
  • Cross-Channel Marketing Insights: Connect Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Pinterest Ads, Twitter Ads, and Google Ads to optimize your paid campaigns across every major channel.

Why Use Cross-Channel Solutions?

Cross-Channel Solutions are an amazing way to integrate more channels into your day-to-day activities and decisions. Using the available apps, you can connect your Marketing Cloud data with web analytics data, or even ads data to make better, data-driven decisions.

For example, let’s say you’re using Google Analytics to track your web performance. Trying to create a holistic picture by connecting your email data to your web performance can be complex! But it doesn’t have to be. With a quick install, you will be able to see the entire funnel, from emails sent to website visits. You can drill down to each campaign's metrics—gaining insights, like the best day to send out an email, the most effective subject line or content, and more. And this all takes place through an easy-to-use user interface.

Cross-Channel Marketing Insights App

A great example of the power of Cross-Channel Solutions is the Cross-Channel Marketing Insights app. It’s likely you’re using various ad platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Google Ads. Capturing a holistic view of all your campaigns can be tricky, right? The Cross-Channel Marketing Insights app allows you to analyze all your campaigns in one place and connect your email data. 

After you install the app you can research your data in various views, gain insights on your data, and even receive actionable suggestions—like which campaign to pause, and how to optimize your budget allocation. The installation is simple—let’s review the two-step process.

Install Cross-Channel Solutions

Click the Cross-Channel tab from the top navigation bar in Intelligence Reports. Now you see the apps that are available for you to install.

If you know which app you want to install, click Get it now. If you don’t, simply click on the app to learn more about it, or view the demo mode with demo data.
