Trying to complete this simple exercise but it never works whether going in through Install Package or using the App Exchange: 

 

1) Install Package times out and then never completes (no email received, app never installs asynchronously). 

 

2) Using App Exchange I can go through the process right up until the installation decided I do not have permission - even though it's a brand new PG org created from the very Trailhead page. 

 

I have also resent my password - as per the instructions on the same Trailhead page. 

 

I cannot complete the module because the Trailhead page verifies if the app is installed. 

 

I need to complete the whole trail (2.5 hours estimated) before the end of the this week, as I am due at the in-person workshop next week. This trail is pre-course work.

I'm trying to get my unstructured data from Salesforce Files in the form of PDF into Data Cloud to then be able to use them with an Agentforce Agent. 

 

I am referring to files stored as ContentDocument/ContentVersion. 

 

However I am only able to connect external data sources like Amazon S3, not CRM. Also the CRM connector won't allow me to do this. I do not have Mulesoft available. 

 

Can anybody point me into the right direction?

    Hi @Abhishek Srivastava

    Salesforce doesn't currently support directly importing Salesforce Files (ContentDocument/ContentVersion) into Data Cloud as a DLO. Data Cloud mainly connects to:

    • CRM Connector (for structured Salesforce records, but not files)
    • External Storage (e.g., Amazon S3, Snowflake, Google Cloud, Azure)

    Since files are unstructured data, you'll need an extra step to bring them into Data Cloud. Here's how:

    Steps to Get Salesforce Files into Data Cloud

    1. Extract Salesforce Files (ContentDocument/ContentVersion)
    2. Store the files in an external source (e.g., Amazon S3, Snowflake, Google Cloud, Azure)
    3. Ingest the file data into Data Cloud to create a DLO
    4. Convert the DLO into a DMO by mapping key attributes (e.g., file name, content, owner, associated record). If needed, use Einstein AI or Agentforce to process the file content

Hi Trailblazer Community, 

 

I have created the First and Respond milestones and added them to Platinum Entitlement process. And I also set Platinum Entitlement process as the process of Basic Phone Support Entitlement name. Then I created a case for that "Edge company" Account, changed the Support Level to Platinum and set the Basic Phone Support as the Entitlement Name for that Case. And I passed the Assignment as well. 

 

However, my milestones component shows there is no value, which I believe it should show the first and respond time cuz I am using Platinum entitlement process.  

 

What did I miss?

In the "Create a Process for Managing Support Cases" project, I'm on the "Test the Case Escalation Rule" step, and in my Lightning app page the Ursa Major Solar Service console is active. Shouldn't it be "AW Computing" and if so, how do I activate/find that page? Thanks!

In Trailhead admin above task not getting the related fields..

  1. Click the Related tab.
  2. Click New in the Entitlements-related list, and fill in the details.

    I am having the same issue.  It does not seem to be assigning the case page layouts which I created in the first exercise Set Up Case Escalation and Entitlements > Create Support Processes properly, no matter what I do.  Because when I view a case, I cannot see the fields which were added to the "Product Support Case Layout".  It seems to just be displaying the default case layout, even though the Product Support Case Layout is active and was assigned as best as I can tell.  Am I missing something or is this a glitch?

I am working on the Coral Cloud Resorts project, which combines Data Cloud and Einstein AI to streamline the check-in process and generate personalized emails for guests.

I have already created a custom playground with Data Cloud and Einstein AI enabled, but I want to confirm the steps needed to:

  1. Connect external data sources to Salesforce Data Cloud.
  2. Use Einstein AI to generate email drafts based on the guest reservation data.
  3. Ensure that my playground has the required permissions to complete this project, as mentioned that the custom permission set doesn’t provide access to Data Cloud Setup.

What configurations and steps should I double-check to make sure my setup works properly for this project?

 

 Would appreciate any guidance or tips from the community!

    Hi ,

     

     I encourage you to get help from the Trailhead support team. 

     

     There is a bug in the login process of any previous org you had in Trailhead that you may have used for the Agentforce modules .The only way out is to raise a case with Trailhead to disassociate the org from your account so you may create or attach a new one. I think it was designed to stop people spinning up more than 1 org for the Agentforce features.

I'm working on Create an Automation with Flow Builder.  See

When a created a support case for a large account, I could not save it. I got this error message:

 

"We can't save this record because the “Notification: Case for Large Account” process failed. Give your Salesforce admin these details. Missing required input parameter: SObjectRowId Error ID: 2129078499-204667 (-1677892507)Missing required input parameter: SObjectRowId Error ID: 2129078499-204667 (-1677892507)"

 

When trying to think what I might have done wrong, I remembered creating the flow and getting an instruction that did not seem right. The screenshot shows the instruction. It says I'm to enter the record ID as {!$Record.id}.  Trailhead would not allow me to save the input as {!$Record.id}  When trying to select from the available options, I could not find anything that gave that result. I finally found one that gave this result "{!$Record.ContactId}". I decided to try that. Perhaps this is why I'm getting this error message.  

 

Any ideas?

    Hi @Ronald Cram ,

     

    So I tossed out the Cases org I had done this in and created a new Cases Redo playground. I started at the beginning of the module and copied and pasted every single thing being careful not to have extra spaces or punctuations and VOILA! I don't know what was missing the first time around and I'm guessing it was something that wasn't typed/copied correctly.

    •  Ensure "Pyramid Construction" exists as an Account or Contact in Salesforce.
    • Confirm you're creating the case through the correct process or location.
    • Check if there’s already an existing case for Pyramid Construction.
    • Ensure you’re using the right case record type (e.g., Product Support)

I continue to get step not completed:  {We can't find a new Product Support Case for Pyramid Construction}.  I have 2 cases created for Support Tier 1.  The only thing missing in set up was choosing PROBLEM for the type, it was not in the drop down to choose, so I used OTHER.  Not sure what step I missed.  Where/how do I create "Problem" for the Type filed when entering a case?

    Hi , 

     

     

    click setup--> create --> objects --> case --> scroll down to "Record Type Section" --> you will find the record type that you have created, click the record type name you want to update the pick list value --> in "Picklists Available for Editing" section you will find Type__c --> click "Edit" ,update the pick list value.

Hello, I'm currently in Create a Case Escalation Rule and am on step "Test the Escalation Rule" 

Im not able to select "Problem" from the Type nor do I have the option to select "Inverters" for the Product type. Please help.
