Hi, I want to freeze data in Tableau so that it doesn't get updated every time I view my dashboard. Is there a way I can perform this without extract data connection?

You can adjust the cache settings which should allow you to keep the data in the cache rather than running a query each time you open the dashboards. This will depend on if you are using Server or Cloud, but more details can be found on the following links.
