Can anyone give me a hint on how Lindsey Poulter created the slider indicators along the top of the viz below? Any help much appreciated!

On the dashboard, create that filter action. Set it up so that it activates on hover. Source object is the map sheet. Target are all the other sheets.
The first time the filter action is activated on the dashboard, Tableau will put it onto the filters of the respective sheets for you.
