Will a Salesforce Opportunity with or without Activities report type, show end users all opportunities that they have access to regardless of whether or not they have permission to see the activities? Will it just show null values for fields pulled from activity records that they do not have permission to view OR hide the opportunity that they have access to because they do not have access to the related Activity?

Many of my users are using a previously created Opportunities with or without Activities report type for their reports. They could not see certain records. When I adjusted the "Show me" Filter to "All Opportunities" under the "Salesforce Admin" role instead of a lower role in the hierarchy, this opened up the records missing. BUT will it show the same records as, for example, the Opportunities report type?

I am curious if I need to rebuild all of these reports.

Thank you

@Marina Zouaghi Since your Report type is Opportunities with or without Activities.. the system will pull all Opportunities with or without activities.. that you have visibility to and based on any other Report filter applied.

Then the system checks on the value defined in "Show me". If its MY Opportunities.. it will show only those you owned.

you also have My team selling as a value and also all Opportunities.

When you apply All Opportunities.. the System tries to pull All Opportunities with or without activities that the running user (or user who ran the report) has access to. Hence, what you see is expected
