Our company uses Everest, an email deliverability tool, we've been noticing that our some of our emails seem to be getting sent to the spam folder for Hotmail/Outlook.com email addresses. We ran a spam test on one of the emails we sent to our customers noticed that it says the DKIM was verified successfully, but at the bottom, there are a few providers that marked the DKIM as failing.

The spam folder has been happening for a couple of weeks and we’ve been trying to figure out why. But for the first time with this send, it marked the DKIM as failing for Hotmail (Outlook.com), Office 365, and NetZero. We were able to click into the headers of the emails and noticed for Hotmail and Office 365 it says that the dkim=fail (signature didn’t verify) and for NetZero there is a permanent error.

Has anyone else ran into this and found a workaround/solution?

    Let's start with some context:

    1. Is it new SFMC instance or are you sending for a long time and it just started happening?

    2. Did you increase significantly volume of emails sent to Outlook/Hotmail recently?

    3. Have you seen increased bounces/spam complaints for Outlook/Hotmail recently?

    4. Have you made any changes to your SAP/DNS?
